Anne-Katrine has been working as a Data Collector for the College Crisis Initiative since October. She is a senior Political Science major and Arab Studies minor, and hopes to pursue a career within foreign policy and diplomacy. She is particularly interested in the Middle East and China and hopes to spend her career traveling and continuing to develop her language skills. Anne-Katrine stays busy on campus, spending her time as a research assistant for two political science professors, as a head student assistant on the Davidson Discovery Initiative at the Office of Alumni and Family Engagement, and as a Chidsey Leadership Fellow.

Alex is a Psychology major and Studio Art minor at Davidson College and Data Collector for the College Crisis Initiative. He is interested in developmental psychology, especially when it is related to children. He hopes to pursue graduate studies in the field after graduation and attempt to disentangle the complex factors that make up child behavior. He is fascinated by the impact that developmental research can have on policy-making. Other than psychology, he enjoys creating and learning about art. Outside of academic interests, he likes spending time with friends and learning about other cultures.

Skylar McVicar is a C2i Data Collector. She is a Political Science, Ethics, and Religion Interdisciplinary Studies Major on the Prelaw track from Los Angeles, CA. In addition to working for C2i as a Data Collector, she also tutors peers as a Writing Center Consultant. At school, Skylar is an energetic tour guide, a member of both the Honor Council and Warner Hall Eating House, Vice President of the Jewish Student Union, and a Chidsey Leadership Fellow. Outside of school, she enjoys volunteering with Continuing the Mission, a nonprofit organization that provides assistance dogs and support to veterans with PTSD. For leisure, Skylar listens to music, reads in her hammock, discovers new running routes, and indulges her inner foodie by Yelp-ing popular restaurants.
