C2i Alumni - Data Collector

Grace Olson is a Political Science and Hispanic Studies double major at Davidson and is a Data Collector for C2i. Grace is passionate about political campaigns and recently worked on the Democratic Senate campaigns in the Georgia runoff election. Outside of C2i, Grace is a tour guide for the admissions office, a Davidson cheerleader, and a volunteer Spanish teacher for SiDES (Spanish in Davidson Elementary School). In her free time, Grace loves to bake!

Gretchen Pearson is a senior data collector for C2i. Gretchen is a history major and she is passionate about equitable education and the outdoors. Gretchen is also a member of the Davidson Women’s Soccer Team as well as Rusk Eating House. In her time away from C2i, Gretchen spends her free time reading and spending time in the sun!

Macy Lawton graduated from Davidson College in 2022 with a BA in Anthropology and Environmental Studies. Macy was a Data Collector for C2i.  Outside of C2i, Macy was the President of the Nuances (an on-campus a cappella group), a member of the Davidson College Chorale, and the Social Chair of Rusk Eating House.

Macy is currently a Graduate Assistant for Career, Affinity, and Regional Engagement in the Office of Alumni Engagement at William and Mary and an M.Ed. Candidate in Higher Education Administration at William & Mary.

Emily Paton is a current Data Collector for the College Crisis Initiative. Emily is interested in the physics and computer science academic networks on campus and enjoys studying Arabic. When not collecting data for C2i, you may find Emily running on the Davidson cross country trails or hiking with Davidson Outdoors. She loves being outside, playing volleyball, and being a part of her dorm community.

Jess Villiger graduated from Davidson College in 2022 with a BS in Psychology. Jess was a Data Collector for the College Crisis Initiative. At Davidson, Jess was extremely involved with Davidson’s Student Government Association,  served as the Director of Public Relations, and was part of the COVID-19 committee for the 2020-2021 school year. Jess also worked in the Admissions Office and as an overnight admissions Ambassador with duties that included being a tour guide and running information sessions. Moreover, Jess served on Davidson’s Institutional Review Board, the Programming Chair for Patterson Court Council, and was a member of Rusk Eating House.

Jess is currently a Graduate Student at Vanderbilt University, Peabody School of Education.
