Chinara Embden is a Data Collector and Research Affiliate Team Member for C2i at Davidson College. At Davidson, Chinara is a junior Psychology major and Arab Studies minor. Outside of her studies, Chinara is also interested in travel, investing, and art. She is able to use her artistic and social skills to meet with research affiliates and work on their projects. She also acts as a liaison between research assistants and C2i members by providing them with data. When not contacting research affiliates or collecting data, Chinara is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., is a KIPP Scholar, and is passionate about learning new things.

Danya Rangachar is the Social Media Manager and Research Affiliates Team Member. At Davidson College, she is a Political Science and Sociology double major. C2i’s media presence would not be possible without Danya’s hard work in managing all of C2i’s social media accounts. Additionally, she meets with different researchers who are interested in working as research affiliates, in order to use C2i data on specific research topics within Higher Education innovation. As Co-President of SASA (South Asian Student Association), a senior senator for Davidson’s SGA (Student Government Association), a French AT and a core C2i team member, Danya is busy, yet nevertheless passionate about her work.
Alexandria Marsicovetere is the current Director of Research Affiliates for the College Crisis Initiative at Davidson College. She is a senior Hispanic Studies major and Educational Studies Minor interested pursuing a career in public interest law and education upon graduation. On campus, Alex is involved as a Senior Admission Fellow, Communications Consultant, William Holt Terry Fellow, Chidsey Leadership Fellow, and member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and Catholic Campus Ministry. She hopes to use her work with the College Crisis Initiative to inform and impact equitable change in education.
Katie is a 2020 Davidson College graduate from Elon, North Carolina. Katie is a Consulting Analyst for Huron Consulting Group within the Higher Education Research Practice based out of Chicago, IL. Higher Education has been a passion of hers throughout her college career. She has interned at both the American Council on Education and for Congressman David Price in Washington, DC focusing on education policy. Additionally, she streamlined her education at Davidson to gain broad understanding of the education field, in addition to her major of Political Science and her minor of Dance. Katie has worked for the last year as Research Assistant for the Office of the Vice President of Academic Affairs under Dr. Christopher Marsicano and as a Senior Fellow within the Davidson College Admissions Office. Further, she acted as second author on the paper “Tracking Campus Responses to the COVID-19 Pandemic.” She also is acting as second author on an upcoming paper on higher education lobbying which will be out for review in September 2020. In her free time, Katie is working towards her RYT200 yoga teacher certification and enjoys traveling and eating as much delicious food as possible!
