Katie is a 2020 Davidson College graduate from Elon, North Carolina. Katie is a Consulting Analyst for Huron Consulting Group within the Higher Education Research Practice based out of Chicago, IL. Higher Education has been a passion of hers throughout her college career. She has interned at both the American Council on Education and for Congressman David Price in Washington, DC focusing on education policy. Additionally, she streamlined her education at Davidson to gain broad understanding of the education field, in addition to her major of Political Science and her minor of Dance. Katie has worked for the last year as Research Assistant for the Office of the Vice President of Academic Affairs under Dr. Christopher Marsicano and as a Senior Fellow within the Davidson College Admissions Office. Further, she acted as second author on the paper “Tracking Campus Responses to the COVID-19 Pandemic.” She also is acting as second author on an upcoming paper on higher education lobbying which will be out for review in September 2020. In her free time, Katie is working towards her RYT200 yoga teacher certification and enjoys traveling and eating as much delicious food as possible!
