Dan Brennan is a Co-Chief of Operations for the College Crisis Initiative and head of C2i’s Data Team. He is a senior Political Science Major and Chinese Studies Minor at Davidson College. Dan helps oversee both day-to-day and broader operational goals and functions, while managing student programmers who create tools that streamline our data collection and manipulation processes. The College Crisis Initiative has helped Dan expand his interests in Data Analysis, Higher Education Strategy and Public Health. Through this C2i opportunity, Dan has observed how his work guides university policy and his data work creates actionable insights. C2i is lucky to have Dan as a phenomenal team member and data wizard.

Sam Owusu
Sam Owusu is a Co-Chief of Operations for the College Crisis Initiative and a senior International Relations Major and Educational Studies Minor at Davidson College. Sam’s academic interests expand beyond his International Relations major, as he is studying International Education, Sports Finance, Equity & College Access, and Student Mobilization. When away from managing data collectors, coordinating data collections for C2i’s clients and improving C2i’s organizational strategy, Sam is the President of the Tau Omicron Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. at Davidson College, a Resident Advisor and a Bonner Scholar. Sam contributes immensely to Davidson’s community and the C2i team. When asked, Sam enjoys working with C2i, because of the hard-working and critical thinking student led teams that collaborate together on projects, while having the best of the best of times.
Emily Rounds
Emily Rounds is a Co-Chief of Operations for the College Crisis Initiative. She is a senior Hispanic Studies major at Davidson College who intends to pursue a career in the field of Higher Education after graduation. Emily’s interest in Higher Education began through her studies in Dr. Marsicano’s education courses and a combination of work at the Davidson’s Office of Admission, as a Tour Guide and Tour Guide Mentor, and in her current role as a Senior Admissions Fellow. She has conducted Psychology research studying the population of students in Higher Education and had her piece, “The Impact of Fitspiration Content on Body Satisfaction and Negative Mood,” published in the Psychology of Popular Media journal. When not organizing data collections and developing partnerships with external sources, Emily spends her time as the President of Rusk Eating House, Chair of the Senior Class gift, a Spanish Apprentice Teacher, and a Spanish Writing Tutor. Despite her busy schedule, Emily is thrilled to have been on the C2i team and has had incredible experiences, such as working with NPR to create a comprehensive testing data article and database, and continues contributing to the field of Higher Education.
Anne Ridenhour
Anne Ridenhour is a Co-Chief of Operations for the College Crisis Initiative. She is a senior Political Science Major and Educational Studies Minor at Davidson College, who will move to Atlanta as an Incoming Strategy Analyst for Deloitte after graduation. Anne’s main academic interest is in Higher Education policy and she has already co-written an article on Federal Funding for IHEs, “Between a Rock and a Hard Place: Congress Should Give Colleges a Lifeline in Next Stimulus”, with New America. When away from managing C2i data collections and working with external partners, Anne is the President of Warner Hall Eating House, an Accounting Assistance Teacher and a member of Davidson’s Honor Council. Outside of work, Anne enjoys spending time hiking, exploring new places, and trying new foods.
