This graphic shows the breakdown of vaccination plans for students based on the size of the institution in the Fall 2021 semester. The data is categorized into three groups based on the institution’s student population: small, medium and large. The small category is for institutions of 0-5,000 students; the medium category is for institutions of 5,000-10,000 students; the large category is for institutions larger than 10,000 students. As we can see in the data, all three types of institutions have a similar large percentage of encouraged vaccination for students. The large institutions have the highest percentage of required vaccination for students. The enrollment data for each institution was taken from IPEDS, while the vaccination plan data was taken from the C2i Vaccination Plan data collection which was collected in July 2021.
