This graphic shows the breakdown of vaccination plans for students based on the institution’s student-to-faculty ratio. The data is split into two categories: institutions whose student to faculty ratio is less than or equal to 15 students for every 1 faculty member, and institutions whose student to faculty ratio is greater than 15 students for every 1 faculty member. As we can see in the data, both categories of institutions have the largest percentage of institutions that encourage vaccinations for students. Interestingly, institutions that have a student-to-faculty ratio less than or equal to 15:1 are more likely to require the vaccine than institutions with a greater student-to-faculty ratio. The student to faculty ratio data for each institution was taken from IPEDS, while the vaccination plan data was taken from the C2i Vaccination Plan data collection which was collected in July 2021.
