This graphic shows the displays the mode of instruction percentage for colleges during the 2021 spring semester based on the number of students at an institution. The mode of instruction data was taken from the Spring 2021 C2i Data Collection and the size of the institution data was taken from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). The graphic shows that larger institutions have higher percentages of primarily or fully online classes. Smaller institutions have higher percentages of primarily or fully in-person classes and to be determined.
