This graphic shows the Spring 2021 mode of instruction for institutions by the percentage of undergraduate students awarded federal, state, local, institutional or other sources of grant aid. The “Other” category has the highest median percentage of students receiving financial aid while the “Primarily or Fully Online” category has the lowest median. The “Other” category mostly includes schools that do not mention COVID on their websites. It is interesting that those schools have the highest percentage of students receiving financial aid. These schools may not be taking COVID as seriously as other institutions or do not have the infrastructure to have a plan posted on their website. The mode instruction data was found using a C2i data collection. The percentage of undergraduate students receiving financial aid was found using the IPEDS Data Center.
