Abby Francis is a Davidson College Undergraduate student. She is an education major, communication studies minor, with concentration in psychology. She is captain of Davidson College’s Division 1 Swim Team, co-president and founder of the Davidson chapter of Strong Girls United, a team leader for the College Crisis Initiative (C2i), and Co-chair of the Senior Class Gift. She is currently developing an individual thesis and collaborating on several other research papers with fellow students and faculty at Davidson College which are being considered for national conferences and publication.
Steve Mirabello is a Team Lead with the College Crisis Initiative (C2i). A sophomore at Davidson College, he is an intended Philosophy, Politics, and Economics major and French and Francophone Studies minor. He has contributed to C2i projects on universities’ COVID responses, school districts’ mask mandate policies, and the intersection of infrastructure and higher education institutions. Outside of C2i, he serves as the Class of 2025 president in the Student Government Association, volunteers as a reading tutor, and plays on Davidson’s ultimate frisbee team.
Sohan Gade is a Team Lead and Data Collector for the College Crisis Initiative. He is a senior Economics Major and Intended Data Science Minor at Davidson College. Sohan’s academic interests include Higher & K-12 Education Policy, Environmental Sustainability, Urban Development, and American History. Outside of C2i, Sohan is an avid Davidson sports fan, Co-Chair of the Dean Rusk Global Corps, CatStats Sports Analyst, and a Senior Staff Writer for the Davidsonian Newspaper. In terms of hobbies, he enjoys watching his favorite sports teams, going out for nature walks, blogging, and learning how to cook.
Sophie Eldridge has been a Team Lead for the College Crisis Initiative since 2020. She is a senior Political Science Major and Educational Studies Minor at Davidson College, who will move to Charlotte as an Incoming Business Analyst for McKinsey & Company after graduation. Through her work at C2i, she has interviewed with NPR, USA Today, and most recently wrote an article with C2i research affiliates for Brookings. On campus at Davidson, Sophie is the President of Connor Eating House, a member of Davidson’s Honor Council, and a member of the Pre-Law Society. Outside of work and research, Sophie enjoys cooking, hiking, and playing intramural sports.
Sanjam Gujral is a senior, Economics major and team leader for the College Crisis Initiative. She is interested in finance and research and works as a research assistant for the Economics Department at Davidson College. Previously she worked as a marketing intern for Hint Water, Scholarship Chair for PCC, and International Student Ambassador for Davidson College Admissions. Outside work, she is involved with the Women’s Network at Davidson, Consulting Club, and the Davidson International Association. In her free time, she works as a bartender on campus!
