Drew Sheldon is a senior Educational Studies major with a concentration in Higher Education and Athletics. Drew is the Director of Communication for the College Crisis Initiative and is excited to grow the presence of the organization. Outside of C2i, Drew is involved on campus as a captain of the varsity men’s swim and dive team, co-president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), part of the Chidsey Leadership Fellows, and a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. Drew’s passions lie within intercollegiate athletics and he hopes to work in the field, spending the summer of 2022 as an intern in the Wake Forest Athletic Department.
Team Lead and Director of Communications
Claire Pearce is a senior psychology major and educational studies minor. She has worked with the College Crisis Initiative since July 2020 and has experience with a variety of data collections and has a wide scope of interest in higher education, including racial inequality, social justice, and athletics. Entering a new role this year as Director of Communications, she is looking forward to working on the backend of C2i operations, as well as doing research on current crises and higher education. Outside of C2i, Claire is a Resident Advisor and leads multiple organizations including Gamut Dance Company, Pre-Law Society, and Psi-Chi International Psychology Honors Society. Upon graduating from Davidson, Claire hopes to work in education or psychology, with a plan to attend law school in the coming years.
