Sarah Walsh is an Associate Professor in the School of Health Sciences at Eastern Michigan University. Her research explores community supports for healthy aging, including home-delivered meal programs and age-friendly universities. Prior to joining the faculty at EMU, Dr. Walsh worked in public health practice for more than a dozen years in a variety of settings, most recently serving as a Senior Program Officer at the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky. She holds a PhD in Health Promotion and Behavioral Science from the University of Louisville School of Public Health and is certified as a Health Education Specialist.
