Melissa Whatley, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of International and Global Education at the School for International Training’s Graduate Institute. She earned her Ph.D. in Higher Education from the University of Georgia’s Institute of Higher Education. Her research applies advanced quantitative analytic approaches to improve our understanding of policies and practices that diversify both who is able to access international education and the outcomes of these opportunities. Her most recent work focuses on international education at U.S. community colleges. She has published in venues such as Research in Higher Education, the Journal of Higher Education, and the Community College Review. Dr. Whatley is also the author of An Introduction to Quantitative Analysis for International Educators, to be published by Springer.
