Joe Wasserman is a Research Public Health Analyst in the Center for Health Analytics, Media, and Policy at RTI International. He primarily contributes to evaluations of large-scale interventions transforming health care delivery and payment systems. In this capacity, he integrates disparate administrative healthcare data sources to generate novel information.

Prior to joining RTI, Mr. Wasserman modeled and benchmarked healthcare utilization and expenditures from EHR and claims data at Kaiser Permanente of the Northwest, researched electronic health record (EHR) implementation in community hospitals as a researcher at Oregon Health & Science University, and researched media and the mind as a media psychologist at West Virginia University. His current research applies quantitative and statistical methods to analyze electronic health record, claims, and other administrative healthcare data.
